Solomon and Sheffield Recognized as Top Professional Service Leaders in Tri-Counties

Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP is pleased to announce that Tracey A. Solomon, CPA and Jacob Sheffield, CPA, MST have been named among the 2023 Who’s Who in Professional Services by the Pacific Coast Business Times.
Tracey A. Solomon, CPA | Audit Partner
Tracey has been working with BPW in the audit department since 2003 and specializes in financial audits, employee benefit plan audits, and accounting consulting & reporting. She has a diverse portfolio of clients, including closely held companies, governmental entities, and not-for-profit organizations.
Additionally, she is actively involved with technology and start-up companies in a wide range of industries where she has expertise in complex accounting transactions, including equity-based transactions and corporate reorganizations.
As an active member of the community, Tracey serves on the UCSB Economic Forecast Project’s Board of Directors and is the Governance & Nominating Committee Chair. She is also a member of the Santa Barbara Foundation’s Audit Committee and Cyber Security Committee and was recently appointed to the Scholarship Foundation’s Board of Directors.
Jacob Sheffield, CPA, MST | Tax Partner
Jacob is an experienced tax partner with expertise in tax planning and compliance for corporations and their shareholders. He has been with BPW since 2005 and specializes in accounting for income taxes, sales and acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations.
Jacob works closely with corporate officers and shareholders on stock compensation, distributions and accounting for income taxes on their financial statements. He enjoys working with start-up companies on selecting the best entity formation for their company, choosing the right capital options and preparing the company for new investors and/or potential sale.
Jacob received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara and his Master of Science in Taxation with honors from Golden Gate University. He currently resides in Eagle, Idaho and looks forward to expanding BPW’s footprint in the surrounding areas.
