Three BPW Team Members Receive CPA License

Santa Barbara, CA – Jason Van Reken, Stacey Foley and Jorge Melgoza of Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP recently obtained their California State CPA license. BPW now has a total of 31 CPAs and a grand total of 60 professionals. Congratulations to the firm’s newest CPAs on their recent accomplishments.

Jason Van Reken, CPA

Jason graduated early from UCSB in the Fall of 2010 after switching majors from Biology to Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting. Jason works on a wide variety of clients, primarily within the audit department, and is further developing his skills relating to not-for-profit tax returns and their related filing requirements.

He is an active runner and also enjoys participating in local competitions. Jason is originally from Reno, Nevada and is pleased that he was able to remain in Santa Barbara after graduation.

Stacey Foley, CPA

Stacey joined Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP in 2011 as a senior accountant in the audit department. She graduated from LSU with a Masters degree in Accounting in 2008 and began her audit career with a big four firm in Austin, Texas.

Originally from Louisiana, Stacey moved to Santa Barbara in 2011 and enjoys running, the beach and the weather in Southern California.

Jorge Melgoza, CPA


Jorge graduated from UCSB in 2008 with a double major in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting and Spanish Literature, in which he earned a distinction within the major.

Jorge joined the audit department in Fall of 2011 after being able to fulfill one of his dreams of returning to live in Santa Barbara. Jorge works on a broad array of clients ranging from corporate entities to special districts. Jorge enjoys hanging out with friends and spending time with his family.
