Eileen Sheridan joined Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP in 1987, becoming a partner in 1996. A skilled generalist who has worked extensively with individuals and businesses on a variety of complex taxation matters, Eileen has focused her practice at BPW on estate, trust and charitable planning. She is the founding member of the firm’s estate planning group, which is dedicated to assisting clients with both basic and sophisticated estate tax planning, as well as philanthropic goals. Eileen is a graduate from the University of Maryland, earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, cum laude, and holds a Master of Taxation degree from Golden Gate University. Eileen is a long-standing member and past president of the Channel Counties Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), an organization with over 800 local CPAs. Eileen is currently the chair of CalCPA’s statewide Estate Planning Committee and a CalCPA Council Member. Additionally, she serves on their Statewide Committee on Taxation. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Santa Barbara Estate Planning Council. Eileen currently serves on the board of directors for the Music Academy of the West and is a member of the Academy’s Planned Giving Committee. She is past board chair of the Santa Barbara Foundation and was a lecturer at UCSB in the Department of Economics for over ten years. Download Bio:

Bridget Foreman, CPA

Bridget Foreman joined Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP in 2003, becoming a partner in 2009. Her specialties include closely held businesses and individual taxation for high net worth individuals.

A significant part of Bridget’s business practice focuses on partnership taxation and entity structure. She is accomplished in evaluating complex financial transactions, including acquisitions, purchase price allocations and eventual dispositions.

Bridget integrates tax planning, compliance and consulting services for her clients as well as orchestrates the efforts of their other advisors, including investment managers, attorneys, bankers and insurance agents.

During the course of her career, Bridget spent six years working within the hospitality market sector at a four-star hotel and resort in various capacities ranging from credit manager to leading the internal audit department. In addition, she is well versed in the financial services issues faced by franchisees of national restaurant chains. This related work experience has proved invaluable for her clientele.

Bridget received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business Economics and German Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Today, a mother of two, Bridget’s top personal priority is spending quality time with her family. When she manages to find a quiet moment, Bridget enjoys reading and relaxing on the beach. She also values community involvement and is on the Board of Directors of CALM and the Lobero Theatre.

Crystal A. Knepler, CPA

Crystal joined Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP in 2018 and is a partner in the firm’s tax department. Starting her public accounting career in 2004, she has experience working in both large and mid-size firms as well as the partnership group at Grant Thornton. Crystal brings a depth of expertise in tax planning and compliance and is constantly looking for ways to add value to her client relationships.

Crystal takes great pride in her technical knowledge and in providing a high level of client service. She has significant experience with complex business returns and consulting engagements, including sales and acquisitions, entity structure and tax planning. Although she is a skilled generalist at heart, her work has been primarily focused on partnerships and working with high net worth individuals.

She is a member of both the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Crystal received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting with minors in both Finance and Mathematics from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.

In 2018, Crystal moved to Santa Barbara after living in Dallas, Texas for over a decade. She has settled in with her cat, Maximus, and is excited to call Santa Barbara home. Outside of the office, she enjoys singing, wine tasting, reading and trying to find the best Old Fashioned in town.

Danna joined Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP in 1992. Danna is a Certified Public Accountant with experience in coordinating, managing and executing audit and accounting engagements. As a partner in the firm’s audit department, she uses creative approaches to highlight opportunities for improvement in your operations. She has been involved in all aspects of financial reporting, including attest engagements, accounting consulting, internal control evaluations and litigation support engagements.

Danna is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of CPAs. In 2007, Danna was named “Accountant of the Year” by the California Special District Association (CSDA). She was also named Who’s Who in Professional Services and one of the Top 50 Women in Business by the Pacific Coast Business Times. In 2017, Danna was nominated as one of CalCPA’s Women to Watch in the Experienced Leaders Category.

Danna is a graduate of the Katherine Harvey Fellows program at the Santa Barbara Foundation and is highly involved in the local community. She serves on the South Coast Business & Technology Awards Steering Committee as well as their Nominating Committee. Danna also serves on the Board of Directors for the Santa Barbara Foundation, the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara and Storyteller Children’s Center.

A graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1991, Danna received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting. In her time away from the firm, Danna enjoys spending time with her family.

Gisela A. Rodriguez, CPA

Gisela joined Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP in 2015, becoming a partner in the firm’s tax department in 2024. As a tax generalist, she enjoys working on a variety of engagements, including tax planning and compliance for nonprofit organizations, technology companies, real estate partnerships, and high net worth individuals.

Gisela is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA).

As an active member of the community, Gisela currently serves on the Board of Trustees with CALM and as Treasurer of African Women Rising. She graduated cum laude from San Diego State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Gisela is currently working on her Master’s in Taxation at Golden Gate University.

Gisela was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, but she grew up in Santa Barbara and is proud to call it home. She enjoys participating in the local events that make up a special part of our community, including the summer sunken garden movies at the courthouse, Old Spanish Days, and 3rd Wednesdays in Solvang.

In her free time, Gisela likes traveling, hiking and spending time with her family. As a foodie and travel enthusiast, she enjoys trying out the local cuisine in every new place she goes.

Jacob Sheffield, CPA, MST

Jacob Sheffield joined Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP in 2005. As a partner in BPW’s tax department, he focuses his expertise on complex tax planning and compliance matters for corporations and their shareholders.

Jacob works closely with corporate officers and shareholders on stock compensation, distributions and accounting for income taxes on their financial statements. He enjoys working with start-up companies on selecting the best entity formation for their company, choosing the right capital options and preparing the company for new investors and/or potential sale.

Jacob received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara and his Master of Science in Taxation with honors from Golden Gate University.

Born and raised in Southern California, Jacob lives with his wife, three children and their dogs. He is an avid outdoorsman, plays softball and is involved with a number of wildlife conservation organizations. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Chimineas Ranch Foundation.

John Britton joined Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP in 1991. John works with a highly diverse client mix, including both private for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, with an emphasis in the health care industry.

John is the partner in charge of BPW’s Audit and Accounting Department. He enjoys working with clients at their places of business and finds the people side of audit work most rewarding. John strongly believes in the benefits of ongoing financial training and devotes considerable energy to training and coaching both clients and BPW staff in order to foster continuing improvements in processes and operations.

John completed his undergraduate work at University of California, Santa Barbara in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting. A third-generation Santa Barbara native, John is an active community participant, serving as a member of the Executive Committee of the Elings Park Foundation and the Treasurer of the Santa Barbara Police Foundation.

John is happily married and spends most of his time with his family. When he finds free time, John enjoys playing golf.

Tracey joined Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP in 2003. She has a diverse portfolio of clients, including closely held companies, governmental entities, and not-for-profit organizations.

As a partner in the firm’s audit department, Tracey is experienced in planning, supervising and executing audit and accounting engagements. She has two decades of experience performing financial statement audits for companies and nonprofit organizations. Tracey’s other specialties include employee benefit plan audits, special district audits, and accounting consulting. Additionally, she is actively involved with technology and start-up companies in a wide range of industries where she has expertise in complex accounting transactions, including equity-based transactions and corporate reorganizations.

Tracey serves on the UCSB Economic Forecast Project’s Board of Directors and is the Governance & Nominating Committee Chair. She is also a member of the Santa Barbara Foundation’s Audit Committee and Cyber Security Committee and was recently appointed to the Scholarship Foundation’s Board of Directors.

Tracey is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA). She was named Accountant of the Year by California’s Special District Association and named a Top 50 Women in Business and Who’s Who in Professional Services by the Pacific Coast Business Times. As a graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), Tracey received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting and a minor in Global Peace and Security.

Tracey is a native of Santa Barbara and enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family.

Devin Witt, CPA, MST

Devin began his career with Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP in 2012, originally joining the firm as an intern. He is now a senior manager in the tax department and works closely with clients to provide tax planning and compliance solutions to minimize their tax liability.

While he has experience in a wide range of industries and issues, Devin’s focus includes taxation of closely held businesses and high net worth individuals, with a sharp understanding of entity structuring and tax planning strategies.

Devin graduated from UCSB with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting. In 2018, he received his Master’s in Taxation from Golden Gate University.

As an active member of the firm’s recruiting team, he co-manages BPW’s internship program and is always in search of new talent to join the team. He also serves as board secretary and leads various committees for the CalCPA Channel Counties Chapter.

Devin enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, Frisbee golf, surfing and working on his golf game. He is originally from Ojai, California and moved back to the Ojai Valley in 2018.

Michael C. Weaver, CPA

Michael Weaver joined Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP in 2000. Michael is a senior manager in the firm’s consulting practice and primarily focuses on ERP and CRM solutions. In this role, he has been involved in the marketing, selling, implementing and supporting of a variety of Microsoft business solutions offered by BPW.

Michael is a CPA and a Microsoft MCP with certifications in SQL Server Administration, Microsoft Office SharePoint Services Administration, Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Installation, Applications and Customization), plus a host of Dynamics GP solutions including Installation, Financials, Distribution and Human Resources/Payroll. Michael was also one of the first “Certified Masters” on the Dynamics GP product line. He continues to enjoy learning about the ever-changing technology revolving around ERP, CRM and BI/Reporting.

Originally from San Diego, Michael made Santa Barbara his home to attend the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. During his professional career, he achieved a certificate in Accounting from UCSB’s Extension program and shortly thereafter earned his CPA license.

Michael now resides in Spokane, WA with his wife and two sons where they enjoy the many outdoor activities available in a four seasons location like Spokane, such as hiking, skiing, kayaking and boating.

Ross Appenzeller, MBA

Ross Appenzeller joined Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP in 2003. He is a senior manager for the firm’s consulting team and a Certified Professional on the Microsoft Business Solutions product line. His heightened technical skills and extensive knowledge of the Microsoft software platform are an invaluable resource to clients.

He is involved in the implementation and support of Microsoft Dynamics GP, the leading accounting ERP solution for mid-sized businesses. Ross works closely with a variety of businesses and has developed an expertise in providing core financial solutions to the Credit Union industry.

Ross graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and received his Master in Business Administration from American Intercontinental University.

Ross currently lives in Goodyear, Arizona with his family. He is very interested in the stock market and enjoys studying trends in stocks, bonds and foreign security markets. In his free time, he also enjoys reading books and watching movies.

Laura Copple, CPA

Laura Copple joined Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP in 2001 upon graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting. As a Certified Public Accountant and manager for the firm’s audit department, Laura is extensively involved in planning, executing and overseeing audit and attest
engagements.

Laura is experienced in conducting accounting consulting engagements, internal control evaluations, agreed upon attestation procedures and litigation support engagements. Her specialty areas include Special District and Employee Benefit Plan audits.

Laura is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Certified Fraud Examiners Association.

After working in the downtown Santa Barbara office for eight years, Laura relocated to Goodyear, Arizona with her family, where she continues to work with the firm remotely.

Linda Laramee

Linda Laramee joined BPW in 2007 and currently serves as the firm’s Controller. She also dedicates part of her time to the Business Solutions Team as a Software Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics GP. She has over 20 years of experience in the private and public sectors, having served in a variety of roles such as Staff Accountant, Accounting Manager, and Budget & Financial Analyst. During that time, she was able to accumulate a host of financials skills, as well as expand her knowledge in software consulting by obtaining an MCP with Microsoft.

In her current role with BPW, she is in charge of managing the firm’s day-to-day financial operations, overseeing processes, supervising the finance staff, developing standards, tracking and developing budgets, assisting in tax and regulatory filings, and compiling financial reports. She provides the status of the firm’s financial position by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data and prepares special reports on related industry trends.

As a California native, she grew up in Redondo Beach, attended Santa Barbara City College, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She continues to build on her skills through continued professional education in master classes such as advanced accounting and financial reporting statement analysis.

Linda has a love for nature and enjoys scuba diving, mountain hiking, and bike riding and currently lives in Tennessee with her family. She is a big advocate for living a healthy lifestyle and enjoying a work/life balance. Her motto is: “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and, most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.”

Lori Redfern

Lori brings an array of accounting expertise to the firm with over 30 years of experience serving nonprofit, public and private organizations. She joined Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP in 2019 and is a manager in the client accounting services department.

Lori is well-versed in all facets of the accounting cycle and is proficient in assisting clients with preparing financial reports, managing cash flow, overseeing AP/AR functions, and working closely with CPAs to complete annual tax returns. In addition, her background brings extensive experience in the audit sector, from preparing annual audit documents to reconciling audited financials to accounting records.

As a longtime resident of Santa Barbara, Lori has enjoyed raising her children in the community, serving as the treasurer of the South Coast Community Aquatics Center, and attending both Santa Barbara City College and UCSB.

During her time outside of the firm, Lori enjoys swimming, traveling to tropical destinations, and spending time with family, friends, and her two dogs Ema and Ziggy. She especially enjoys walking, having completed over 40 half marathons and one full marathon.

Administrative Manager & Executive Assistant

Rebecca Alarcon

Rebecca Alarcon joined Bartlett, Pringle and Wolf, LLP in 2006. She has over 15 years of experience in professional office executive assistant administration and has a track record of strong performance in high-volume, fast-paced environments. She assists in the development and implementation of firm policies and procedures and manages and oversees the administrative policies, programs, and practices within the firm.

Prior to joining the firm, Rebecca was the Customer Relations Coordinator for an auto broker. She managed the overall customer satisfaction and community representation, which earned the Blue Oval certification for consistently meeting service criteria.

Rebecca graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and has a Certification in Business Administration.

Rebecca is a mom of three young children who are active in extra curricular activities such as basketball, baseball, soccer and flamenco dancing. She was the cheer director and coach for the Carpinteria Junior Warrior Cheerleaders. Most recently, she participated in the event planning committee for the Carpinteria Girls, Inc gala.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Rosemary M. Schmoller, CPA

Rose Schmoller joined Bartlett, Pringle, & Wolf, LLP in 2017 and is a manager in the audit department. Rose brings over 15 years of experience in both external and internal audit roles. Rose particularly enjoys working with businesses to strengthen their internal control framework and identify opportunities for process improvement. Rose received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Prior to joining BPW, Rose spent over a decade working as a corporate internal audit manager for a global media & entertainment company in Century City. Her experience includes the performance of annual risk assessments, evaluation of the design and effectiveness of internal controls, and ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Prior to then, Rose held a number of accounting positions at a public accounting firm in Santa Monica, a digital advertising company in Marina Del Rey, and an investment banking firm in Ventura.

Rose is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA). Rose also serves as the Treasurer for The Marjorie Luke Theater and is a member of the National Charity League. Rose enjoys traveling, walks on the beach, and spending time with her husband and three daughters.

Stephen J. Korosy

Stephen (Steve) Korosy joined Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP’s Business Consulting team in 2010, bringing with him extensive experience in business analysis and software application sales and implementation. He began his career in ERP software implementation consulting in 1997 and has assisted numerous clients in the successful implementation of their business solutions.

Steve focuses his work primarily on ERP/CRM software sales, CRM implementation methodologies and best practices. His experience includes project management, business process and operations reviews, various selling methodologies, system installation and implementation, technical support, data conversion and database administration, design of customized processes and reports and the design of custom applications to accommodate client specific needs. He has also migrated, integrated and supported multiple systems including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Sage SalesLogix, Pivotal, ACT!, Epicor ERP (formerly Platinum SQL) and Clientele, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics SL, Sage MAS 500 and Platinum for Windows.

Steve’s experience includes consulting for clients across many diverse industries from finance, retail, manufacturing and distribution, telecommunications, nonprofit, government, professional services, printing, aerospace, landscape and property maintenance, software, advertising and pharmaceuticals.

Steve received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. He resides in Goleta, California with his wife and daughters. In his free time, he enjoys traveling to foreign countries, SCUBA diving and making a mess of the kitchen in search of that perfect dish.

Teresa Mullins joined Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP in 1995. She is a manager in the tax department specializing in estate, trust and charitable planning. Teresa is experienced in sophisticated tax planning and compliance matters for individuals.

As a member of the firm’s estate planning group, she is dedicated to assisting clients with both basic and complex estate tax planning needs.

Teresa graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting. She has been a resident of the Santa Barbara area since 1979.

Teresa is an active member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA).

In her free time, she spends her hours volunteering at the county cat shelter and ushering at the local theatres. Teresa also enjoys world travel, snow skiing and sailing.
